We’re coming up to 2017’s big astrological event – the solar eclipse in Leo on Monday 21 August. Some folks are getting a little stressed along the lines of “Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die there’s an eclipse on Monday!” DON’T BE SILLY, DARLINGS.
The energetic effects of eclipses usually start weeks before the actual event. We’ll all just continue to ride through a continuation + amplification of whatever it is that began at the end of July / start of August. Expect energies, dynamics and situations to rise, crest and fall like waves, and thereby sort themselves out; I’ll elaborate on this in the next post.
(Just a PSA though: the more energetically sensitive folks amongst you might be feeling more tired than usual. Remember to breathe deeply and mindfully because fresh air = detox, and try to get as much rest as you can.)
Enjoy yourself this weekend! On Sunday, reckless Uranus (now retrograde) in Aries forms a trine with the Sun in confident, personable Leo (the Moon’s in Leo as well, getting ready to eclipse the Sun on Monday WILL YOU PLEASE CALM DOWN). It’s a good time to try something new and expand your horizons, preferably in a group activity.
