On 3 or 4 August, depending where you live, we have a Full Moon in Aquarius. This Full Moon forms a tense square with Uranus, the iconoclastic planet of sudden change and, sometimes, crisis. This is a moon phase for humility, flexibility, and adaptability – not for taking risks, making erratic changes, or behaving in an unreliable manner.
About five hours after the Full Moon occurs, Mercury, planetary ruler of communication, thought, and travel, opposes Saturn, Lord of Karma and Time. What you think and what you say have consequences, and there’s a chance of misunderstandings and negativity arising. Your best way to navigate this astrology is to stay positive, work hard, be patient, and be kind to yourself (and others).

TAROT
LEFT: QUEEN OF CUPS. This could be a significator card for some of you – meaning that this card represents you in this reading. The Queen of Cups is an intuitive, emotional person whose tender heart and keen insights into the human psyche make him/her an excellent counsellor, mentor, and friend. On the other hand, this card can also indicate a dreamer, someone impractical, a person who tends to live in their head and isn’t always fully engaged in reality.
These are not qualities that some of you embody, and that you will need to be careful of: there are indications that not all is well around you if you’re willing to be present, and to observe things around you.
MIDDLE: QUEEN OF SWORDS REVERSED. This could be a significator card for some others of you reading this. The reversed Queen of Swords is a smart, strategic, brilliant, but also frustrated person. This is someone who can be quick-tempered and sharp-tongued when things don’t seem to be going well.
The fact that this reversed Queen, wielding her swords, is gazing straight at another Queen who’s looking away, indicates that some of you are facing a tense situation this week. This could be a work situation, friendship, family relationship, or romance.
People are stressed: they’re not on the same page, and not communicating well. Things are reaching the point where possibly one person is starting to ghost the other – zoning out, not replying to texts, not paying attention, not fulfilling their responsibilities – and the other party is getting mighty upset about it.
This situation could result in damaging conflict unless action is taken.
RIGHT: FOUR OF SWORDS. Stop over-thinking, and take a time-out. Easier said than done, but vital if you want to avoid pointless hostility and unnecessary confrontation.
Whether you’re the withdrawn Queen of Cups or the exasperated Queen of Swords, take a step back and observe the situation as objectively as you can. What are the root issues that have contributed to this current situation, and how can they be addressed? Take responsibility for your part, and do what’s right for it. There’s no need to rush. Take no major action until you reach a state of mental clarity about what’s really going on.
