The final eclipse of the 2020 mid-year eclipse season is a Full Moon eclipse in Capricorn on 5 July. After the intensity of the solar eclipse a couple of weeks earlier, this one is relatively benign; however, it takes place during the Mercury retrograde in Cancer, so this eclipse could yank out some skeletons in the closet with regards to family, home, and other related issues. So be mindful, but not fearful – and certainly don’t get caught in any dramas.

As I’ve always said about eclipses and eclipse seasons: their energies are transformative, powerful, and usually unexpected. Trying to explain or map the way forward with them would be as futile as trying to encapsulate the feeling of a roller-coaster ride with a bunch of words.
The only way to understand eclipses (and roller coasters) is to get on that ride and be smart about it.

LEFT: SEVEN OF CUPS REVERSED. This week, get your focus on. The Seven of Cups evokes the wisdom of leaving aside distractions, delusions and illusions of this world and the ego, and placing our full attention on what we truly desire (and know we deserve) to achieve. Spoiler: you need to be clear about what exactly you want before you can have it. This week could also bring about a reality check for those of us who have been holding on to unrealistic expectations.
It’s time to get real.
MIDDLE: FIVE OF SWORDS. At the heart of this reading is a warning that not all fights are worth picking, and not all goals are worth fighting for – again, you need to know what exactly you want (see Seven of Cups).
Another thing you need to bear in mind is that not everyone who calls themselves your friend really has your best interests at heart. The Five of Swords speaks of jealousy, the projection of ugly insecurities, and the desire to win at all costs. Watch out for enemies and frenemies (i.e. people who pretend to be your friend but are really the opposite), and cut them out of your life.
No one needs fake stuff in their life.
RIGHT: SIX OF SWORDS. This card is somewhat encouraging despite its sober overtones – the Six of Swords represents a mental disengagement from a sorrowful or stressful situation, and a change for the better as one consciously sets out for calmer waters.

Our divination lot for this week is the same as last week’s, meaning that the previous week’s energies are still in the process of unfolding. This week, the Divine realm continues to extend a helping hand for those in need. When this lot is drawn, one is advised that 阴阳和合之象。凡所谋皆吉也。“Yin and Yang are aligned in harmony; what you seek will be given to you out of Divine grace”.
Right now, a lot of people out there are looking for positive changes in their lives. The pressures of the pandemic and of global economic uncertainty have led to many seeking new jobs, reconsidering their marriages, desperate for grace in challenging times.
It’s both a practical tip, as well as a Spiritual principle, to persevere when we want to achieve breakthroughs in our lives. The famous Biblical verse says it best:
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

So whatever it is you’ve made up your mind that you want – keep on asking, seeking, knocking… and never give up.
Once you’ve chosen your goal and you know this is THE ONE you’re gunning for – that it’s the right one for you – one, ten, a hundred failures won’t matter. Keep going.
Be wise and adaptable to change; know when to stand firm and when to seek assistance; share appropriate information but keep your secrets well; stay close to good people and avoid the ones who seek your harm.
When you co-create your destiny with the intention to achieve the highest and greatest good, the Universe listens… and She will work with you.
