Alright, darlings. Most weeks over here we are love and light. This week is not one of those weeks. But that’s not a bad thing either.
On Monday, 23 September at 3:50 pm (Singapore time), we have the Equinox (which also coincides with the start of Libra season). Folks in the Northern hemisphere will experience the shift from Summer to Autumn; in the Southern hemisphere, you’ll be moving from Winter to Spring.
These are powerful times. Those of you who are sensitive to energies could be feeling mildly anxious, and yet uplifted and at peace. You can feel it – something’s in the air.
(And it’s not the haze, haha.)
I am definitely looking forward to the rest of this year! But back to this week’s spread: some people are gonna get their asses kicked. Let’s get to it, shall we?
TAROT
THE DEVIL REVERSED. The tricky thing about reversed Tarot cards is that they could go either way – either they even out imbalances, or they turn the volume of crazy up to MAX.
Now I’m just your typical happy li’l Libran Tarot reader whose birth chart is ruled by lucky, jovial Jupiter… but even I am inclined to think, based on the overall energies of this spread, that this reversed Devil is not one of the good reversals.
The shadow side of the reversed Devil is that you only think you’re free.
The reversed Devil speaks of chronic dysfunction. Well-hidden, well-fed inner demons who block out your potential to move forward in life with their endless screaming in your head.
The reversed Devil’s most effective strategy lies in convincing you that your messed-up life is someone else’s fault. Reversed Devils are absolute fricking EXPERTS at developing the victim/martyr/drama queen mentality.
The best way to set yourself free: take personal responsibility – that’s the exact opposite of what a toxic person would do. Release control of what isn’t meant for you. Let go, let God, and release the reversed Devils in your life.
Some people are going to be set free from unhealthy bonds in their lives this week. If you are one of the lucky few, run to the light. Start your life anew, and don’t look back.
THE EMPEROR. Watch out for power games. Hidden agendas will be revealed this week, and some people you thought were benign or just, well, nice could well turn out to be very different.
A mature person or a strong personality, possibly in a position of authority, could play a role in this week’s developments. There’s a possibility it could be you: situations could arise where someone’s reversed Devils are trying to play power games with you, and you’ll have to be strong. Know who you are. Stand your ground. Be in your power.
Don’t worry if you become unpopular for doing the right thing. The reversed Devil also thrives on uncontrolled emotions: shame, disgust, rage, terror, and self-pity, to name a few. All you have to do, as the Emperor, is focus calmly on what needs to be achieved – detach from emotional excess. Leave the drama to the drama queens.
Ignore the little Devils and they’ll starve.
PAGE OF CUPS. In this spread, the Page of Cups is a warning against emotional dependency, immaturity, and instability. It’s also a heads up that this week could be challenging for people with water signs (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio) featuring prominently in their chart.
Standing awkwardly in the middle of three powerful Major Arcana, the Page of Cups cuts a forlorn and lonely figure. People who play childish games with others, especially in their relationships, will be isolated and ostracised this week. Let me make this clear: THOSE WHO PLAY GAMES WILL LOSE. Make sure this isn’t you.
THE TOWER. This is the Tarot card of crisis, closure, and change. The Universe is stepping in with a significant challenge to your old, egoistic assumptions, habits, and ways of living. Whatever you are meant to outgrow and leave is being shaken and uprooted. The more tightly you hold on to the old, the more forcefully you’ll be thrown to the ground – your best bet is to roll with the punches.
In a sense, this energy is very similar to Death in last week’s reading, so we’re likely seeing a continuation of what has been unfolding in previous weeks.

This divination lot indicates that all efforts made against the inevitable will be in vain. It doesn’t matter how hard you work or what fantastic idea you’ve strategised. If it’s not meant to happen, it won’t.
There’s increasing evidence that the Universe is, in fact, a living Being, with Her own intelligence, choices, and plans. When the Universe decides to step forward, in a Tower moment, and assert Her will in a matter pertaining to your life – I recommend that you go with Her flow.
The Universe is both the space-time continuum where you live your life, as well as its landlady. We are all only tenants.
Big changes are coming for many of you. It may well be to your benefit that you submit to a higher Wisdom, rather than insist on old paradigms and self-centred plans.
