This Wednesday 10 May, we have a Full Moon in Scorpio – the culmination of any deep work on our emotional healing and wellbeing (since the New Moon in Scorpio six months ago) will become apparent on this day and the two weeks following. An emotional release could happen around this time, and surprise you with its intensity – with Scorpio’s ruler, Pluto, in retrograde now, this release could have something to do with transforming and/or letting go of energies, relationships and situations from the past.
Scorpio is also associated with mysticism and esoteric spirituality, so if you’ve been working on developing your intuition and psychic gifts, this is a wonderful time to give thanks for how far you’ve come. In the spiritual realm, gratitude unlocks the doors to joy and abundance in a powerful way.

So this week is a great time to show appreciation to your Spirit team – your guardian Angels, deceased loved ones (pets included) and Spirit guides – as well as the good folks in your life who’ve made all the difference.
As you can tell by now, this week could get interesting. Here’s This Week’s Tarot to help you navigate. Here we go!
LEFT: ACE OF RODS REVERSED. Upright, this card represents a new cycle or breakthrough in one’s endeavours, especially in areas of creativity, passion and/or career. Reversed, the advice is not to rush into new opportunities until sufficient research and preparation has been carried out first. Alternatively, you might find yourself in a situation which appears to have reached a stagnation of sorts. Now is the time to identify what holds you back, and how you can work around these energies, circumstances and/or people.
MIDDLE: TEN OF PENTACLES. At the centre of this reading is the Ten of Pentacles, which traditionally indicates familial/communal prosperity, and a legacy of wealth. For this reading, I’m getting the sense that we can also expand its meaning to include the question: How does achieving your goals bring you value, purpose and fulfilment – not only for yourself, but also those around you and those you care for? It’s time to think big picture.

RIGHT: FOUR OF CUPS REVERSED. Upright, this card indicates boredom and a sense of taking one’s blessings for granted. Upside-down, this is the card of sudden awakenings, a realisation that one’s current paradigms are no longer enough for evolving needs. You are growing and changing – the Tarot asks: To move forward, what needs to be more fully appreciated, or to change and grow with you? With the Full Moon in Scorpio coming up, it’s also good to ask: What needs to be released for you to move forward?
This week, let’s get #woke and stay #woke. Some of us may be hearing the call to shake off our self-centred shackles and do something more meaningful with our lives… something for the greater good. May the Full Moon illuminate our path.
Have a great week ahead!
