I’m in love with the shape of you, Full Moon in Libra! This Tuesday 11 April, a Full Moon in the zodiac sign of the Celestial Scales indicates a rise in Universal energies promoting the concerns unique to lovely Libra – mainly partnerships, balance, and justice.

Full Moon energies promote the fruition of projects and ventures, as well as encourage the release of old energies that no longer serve your highest good. Issues of equal treatment and work-life balance could arise, requesting your attention. Relationship-wise, that flirty chemistry you’ve been building up with your crush might blossom into something more; conversely, there could be a detachment from a significant other or BFF.

How you can make the most of this Full Moon: get into the spirit of Libra. Open your heart to new developments; love this Universe of ours, and let Her love you back. Be fair-minded, warm-hearted, and just a little romantic (or a lot – take your pick!).

Here’s This Week’s Tarot!

LEFT: THE EMPEROR REVERSED. Upright, The Emperor speaks of control over one’s life, especially in the domains of self-actualisation and emotional wellbeing. When reversed, there are indications of emotional unavailability, a shutting down of the heart in relation to others. Whether due to personal choice or unavoidable circumstance, it’s a decision usually made in order to protect oneself – but as we can see, shutting down the heart for too long can have detrimental circumstances.

MIDDLE: TEN OF SWORDS REVERSED. This card tends to appear when sh*t hits the fan. The Ten of Swords indicates an exhausting experience that drains one entirely of hope. When the Ten Swords hang in reverse, though, there’s an interesting take on its interpretation: this could indicate that what you are reacting so negatively to is, in fact, largely a product of your own imagination. Perhaps the situation that previously necessitated your emotional self-defence has evolved and you no longer need to keep those shields up – the question is, how aware are you of the current situation?

RIGHT: FIVE OF PENTACLES REVERSED. Similarly, the reversed Five of Pentacles – known to some Tarot readers as the Lord of Deprivation – does not imply fact as much as it points towards a mindset of self-deprivation. Have you developed an emotional shell because you’re unsatisfied with your love life, job status, social circle etc? If you’re comparing yourself to other people and wondering why you’re not doing so well, perhaps it’s time to re-frame your perspective and consider what you can actually control.

An effective solution doesn’t have to be complex. Taking down those emotional barriers could be as simple as having a heart-to-talk with a trusted friend, writing down your feelings in a private journal, or alleviating chakra blockages with a walking meditation in the park.

Have a great week, darlings. And in the wise words of Madonna, Open Your Heart:
