This weekend begins with Mercury entering Capricorn on Friday, 2 December. Mercury is the planetary ruler of communication and strategy; when Mercury swooshes into pragmatic Capricorn, Universal energies encourage us to set focused objectives in our social schedule – time to organise your planner for real!
Now, we all know this is the festive season and a great time to catch up with family, friends and loved ones. By all means, do so – but spend more time with the people who truly matter, both in terms of personal closeness as well as practical (i.e. professional) gain.
Because guess who’s swanning around in Capricorn to greet Mercury with open arms? Pluto, that’s who – the planetary ruler of transformation. Unexpected (and greatly desired) developments may arise when we make conscious decisions to engage with people of genuine value to us.
So. Planning to socialise this weekend? Don’t waste your time making date plans with that guy you just met on Tinder if your heart isn’t really in it. Pull out your little black book, your group chat contacts, your Facebook friends list. Write down names – whom would you like to meet? What’s your plan, your purpose? To affirm a new and promising relationship? To strengthen ties with a client? To catch up with an old friend? To develop yourself in some way?
Then make your plans and go get ’em, tiger!
“Unexpected (and greatly desired) developments may arise when we make conscious decisions to engage with people of genuine value to us.”
Everyone loves a festive season, but many of us conclude the celebrations with a vague sense that we haven’t spent our time all that meaningfully. As we get into the Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice and New Year spirit, time can fly by so easily before we really get down to things.
Let this year be different. No more wasting the positive vibes of the festive season doing a whole lotta nothing. You’re in this to get sh*t done AND have fun while you’re at it.
Have a great weekend! 🙂
