This week, Universal energies encourage confidence and self-expression. This being Libra season, though, be careful to strike a balance between flying your flag and blowing your horn – and letting others do the same.
This weekend will be interesting: on Saturday 15 October, the Sun in Libra faces Uranus in Aries directly. Uranus is the planet of unpredictability (if Uranus were a card in a Tarot spread, I’m sure it would be the ‘wild card’); the anti-establishment vibes of Uranus plus a full Moon in Aries on Sunday 16 October indicate the possibility of an exciting time! Let your passion push boundaries, but don’t tip the scales into recklessness. Have fun and play safe, all.
Let’s jump into This Week’s Tarot – here we go! 🙂
LEFT: THE SUN, REVERSED. The Sun is one of the warmest, happiest and most positive cards to get in the Tarot – even when reversed! Success is within reach once you balance your perspectives and emotions towards the task at hand. Upside down, The Sun issues a gentle reminder to guard against excessive pessimism or over-confidence. Your obstacles and challenges can and will be removed – chin up!
MIDDLE: TWO OF CUPS. This card is a happy harbinger of harmony in partnerships. It’s Libra season, after all, and Libra is the zodiac sign of relationships – with family, friends, loved ones, colleagues, even pets and acquaintances! Perhaps this card holds the key to unlock the success you’re promised in The (reversed) Sun. So don’t be a stranger, dear one. Reach out to others if you need assistance, and/or extend a helping hand to someone who needs it. You’ll be glad you did.
RIGHT: TWO OF PENTACLES, REVERSED. The Two of Pentacles reversed can indicate that you’re struggling to manage your priorities and commitments. There’s an element of stress here, but it can be overcome with some tweaks to your time management, budgeting methods, etc. It could be as simple as learning to say ‘no’, for instance, and drawing boundaries as to how far you’re willing to work overtime at the expense of quality time with loved ones.
This Week’s Tarot has two Twos in it, and the message is clear, folks: this week, don’t be a loner. It’s okay to work and play with others, and it’s definitely okay to ask for help whenever you need. I’ll leave you with a beautiful quote about the power of partnerships, from a book I read sometimes:
Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labour:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
– Ecclesiastes 4:9-12a
Have a great week ahead! 🙂
